His personal interest in furniture design also led him to exhibit his two furniture pieces at International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) 2007 in New York. One was YiAhn Bassinet, the winner of Red-Dot 2007 that he designed and made for his first baby and the other one was The MIN.CHAIR, chair for children that won IDEA Gold, Red-dot, and iDA.
He finished his Masters in Industrial Design at Pratt Institute, New York where he worked as a Teaching Assistant for their Industrial Design programs and received a BFA in Industrial Design from Kyung-Hee University, Korea
He has a strong interest in understanding people in different cultures and designing products for them and in communication through design. Min is always striving to encompass a good East-West hybrid of design culture as a union between Asian and Western sensibilities.
